The Matterhorn I-Beam is built for tough jobs that demand serious protection. Crafted with a snowplow fossil saline-resistant leather upper and a waterproof SCUBALINER, it's durable and helps keep your feet dry through harsh conditions. Inside, a breathable mesh lining and DaVinci Arch removable footbed deliver comfort and support, while a non-metallic puncture-resisting insole and triple rib steel shank add strength and underfoot protection. The boot also features advanced impact protection with a composite toe and a D3O ® Winged internal metguard, reinforced by Matterhorn’s signature TigerTip ® for extended wear. The oil-, slip- and heat-resistant rubber lug outsole gives you incredible on-the-job stability. With electrical hazard protection and ASTM F2413-24 I/C EH Mt PR compliance, the Beam is a boot built to handle the hardest work environments with confidence.

- COMPOSITE TOE / NANO TOE: Compared to their steel toe counterparts the composite toes are manufactured using lightweight materials to make the shoe weigh less while meeting ASTM standards. These shoes meet ASTM F2413-24 I/C standards.
- METATARSAL GUARD: Metatarsal guard shoes protect both the toes and the metatarsal bone behind the toes. Metatarsal guard shoes are required in any environment where injuries can occur to the metatarsal bone. They are most commonly used in foundries, welding, air product distribution and other heavy manufacturing. All styles marked with the \"MG\" icon meet the ASTM F2413-24 Mt standards.
- ELECTRICAL HAZARD: The soles of EH shoes provide a barrier to protect employees from open electrical currents up to 600 volts. EH shoes are often needed in maintenance, welding and engineering positions. All styles marked with the “EH” icon in this catalog meet the ASTM F2413-24 EH / ASTM F2892-24 EH standards.
- WATERPROOF: Waterproof boots and shoes are constructed to keep the feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions. Waterproof construction requires continuous maintenance and is not guaranteed to remain for the life of the shoe.
- PUNCTURE RESISTANT: These shoes are designed to reduce the impact of sharp objects which are damaging to the foot. Puncture wounds can be hazardous to the midsole of the foot and the appropriate footwear is necessary on job sites where sharp objects can pierce the sole. These shoes meet ASTM F2413-24 PR standards.
- SLIP RESISTANT: Slip resistant safety footwear is the fastest growing segment of the safety footwear industry. For many employers with wet, oily, and/or greasy floors, it is common sense to require slip resistant safety footwear. Slip related injuries can be extremely costly.
