Static Dissipative 35

Static dissipative (SD) shoes regulate the build-up of electrical charge in an employee\\\\\\\'s body. Static dissipative (SD) shoes are commonly used in the manufacturing of computer components, solvent-based paints, and plastics, and help reduce the risk of static shock to people and to the manufactured product. All safety toe styles marked with the \\\\\\\"SD 35\\\\\\\" icon meet the ASTM F2413-24 SD35 / ASTM F2892-24 SD35 standards with a lower limit of electrical resistance of 106ohms and an upper limit of 3.5 x 107ohms (35 megohms).

Product Description

Take on long shifts and challenging jobsite conditions with the Mack Shift Steel Toe SD Side-Zip Hiker, built for protection, comfort and all-day performance. Premium nubuck leather and ballistic nylon upper provide durability, water shedding and breathability, while the articulated modRIDE midsole, based on running shoe technology, delivers cushioning and a smooth ride from heel strike to toe-off. A compression waffle zone absorbs impact at heel strike, and the integrated one-piece molded ScuffCAP protects the toe. Slip-resistant TPU outsole resists fuel oil and is heat-resistant up to 150°C, providing traction and stability on a variety of surfaces. Steel toe offers impact and compression protection, while static-dissipative (SD) construction provides added safety around sensitive electronics. Side zip closure allows easy access and quick exit in emergencies, and the wide anatomical toe design reduces rubbing and nerve impingement. ADAP Truss and Decouple Groove enhance flexibility and support. ASTM F2413-24 I/C SD compliant.
